Work the Look, the LBD

The most obvious way to effect the evening metamorphosis is to begin with an LBD. I would say rule number one is to have a fabulous little black dress- it’s the easiest piece to change from day to night, just add a piece of statement necklace, and a red lip or a heel to make it more playful for the evening.

The LBD is the most iconic and easy thing a woman can find, you’ll never have to go home and change. Instead updating your outfit with a different shoe, jewelry, and a clutch, kinda like going to work with your It kit. To maximize the look, one should shrug off their cardigan in favor of a cropped leather bomber, a tuxedo jacket, or a boyfriend blazer (worn coquettishly over the shoulders). Rule of thumb: Graphic black and white is always chic.
